Collected work of the photographer/artist Yuna Yagi. It includes the exhibition photos as well as the original photos of the series of 3D works "Worlds Becoming One," "KENCHIKU [Architecture]," and "ANONYMOUS." Placing thick acrylic boards on the photos, this series asks what is "seeing." It suggests the hints for approaching the real "seeing" (understanding = "I see") by evoking the change of the viewer's attitude from passive to active ones to fill in the missing information. It also includes the reviews by Isabelle Olivier and Tetsuya Ozaki.
写真家・アーティストである八木夕菜の作品集。写真の上に厚みのあるアクリルを配置して「見る」ということを問う立体作品シリーズ「ひとつになる世界」「KENCHIKU」「ANONYMOUS」。展示写真と共に、オリジナル写真を加えて収録しました。この作品群は、ある一部の情報が欠落することで、鑑賞者は受動的ではなく、能動的な態度へと変化させられ、本来の見ること（理解＝I SEE）へと近づける手掛かりとなります。イザベル・オリヴィエ氏、小崎哲哉氏による評論も挿入されています。

After graduating from the School of Constructed Environments at Parsons School of Design at NYC, she worked at Shigeru Ban Architects America at NYC and then at GRAFT at Berlin. Then, she made a full-fledged start of her artistic career. Now based in Kyoto, she is publishing works at home and abroad. Her works, using photos with various methods and objects of 3D works, analog and digital works, and spatial installation, express "considerations of the contacts of human beings and their external world" generated through architecture. In 2016, she received HASSELBLAD Prize at KYOTOGRAPHIE International Portfolio Review.
ニューヨーク・パーソンズ美術大学建築学部を卒業後、坂茂建築設計ニューヨーク支社を経て、ベルリンのGRAFT事務所に勤務。その後アーティストとして本格的な活動を開始。現在は京都を拠点とし、国内外で作品を発表している。立体作品、アナログとデジタル、空間インスタレーションなど、写真を用いた様々な手法の作品は、建築を通じて生まれる「人と外界との接点の考察」を表現している。2016年、KYOTOGRAPHIE 京都国際写真祭 ポートフォリオ・レビューにてハッセルブラッド賞受賞。
